This past weekend I was in Toronto for a couple of days, during which time i had a chance to visit a few galleries including the MOCCA (Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art). The current exhibition at the MOCCA is called “Scenes from the House Dream” by artist David Hoffos. I thought this was really neat, so i’m sharing it with you guys.

With very little light, the space of the gallery is transformed into a pathway of exhibits. Small viewing windows encourage you to peer into miniature scenes inhabited by television projections, often solitary figures amidst vast (seemingly endless) landscapes. On MOCCA’s website you can see a few photographs that hardly do it justice. This is one you really need to SEE! So, if you’re in Toronto, check it out! It runs from now until Dec. 31st.

Oh, one more thing, I almost forgot to mention that it’s FREE!
